How much does advice cost?

Our charges are transparent, capped and advice is accessible to all investors.

Our expert advisers will help you decide whether you need advice and at what level you would benefit from. Where you decide you would like advice the following charges apply.

Investment Advice or Discretionary Management Investment Advice
1% of the first £1 million invested. Subject to a minimum charge of £495 (+VAT) by telephone,or £1,495 (+VAT) for face-to-face advice. No charge on the balance over £1 million
Complex Financial Planning
2% of the first £200,000 invested. Subject to a minimum charge of £495 (+VAT) by telephone, or £1,495 (+VAT) for face-to-face advice. 1% between £200,000 and £1 million No charge on the balance over £1 million
HL Review Service
0.365% pa of the value of investments under review. Subject to a maximum of £3,650 per annum (+VAT in most cases).

Please note: the HL Review Service is mandatory for discretionary managed services.

Where an investment transaction is unlikely to take place, you can agree a fixed fee with your Financial Adviser. The fee will be based on the above tariff and be proportionate to the work involved. An estimate can be provided on request and any fee will be agreed with you before any work is carried out.
