HL research - our view on this fund
Global economic recovery has weakened this year and higher interest rates in Asia, and particularly China, has reduced demand for Asian equities. However, there are still plenty of opportunities and Hugh Young is confident the fund will withstand the challenges. He believes one of the best opportunities is in Indian companies, as well as companies in Singapore and Hong Kong which have quality and prudent management. These could deliver strong outperformance.
