About the Fund Manager
George Latham
Located in: London
George oversees the pan-European SRI portfolios. He is manager of the Henderson Global Care Managed Fund and the Henderson Global Care Income Fund, along with the segregated SRI funds. He is responsible for directing Henderson's 'Integrated SRI' investment process, managing the integration of ethical, sustainability and responsibility factors into a single investment process, tailored to suit clients needs. George works together with the SRI analysts integrating their analysis of companies, sectors and sustainability issues across the market into investment decision making. With a BA (Hons) in Geography from St. Catherine's College, Oxford, George was commissioned from Sandhurst into the army. He then joined Threadneedle Asset Management in 1996. At Threadneedle George worked as a fund manager on the pan-European equities team, covering a range of sectors as the in-house analyst and managing a UK growth fund. He also developed a framework for fund managers and analysts at Threadneedle to take social, ethical and environmental factors into account when making investment decisions. George joined the Henderson SRI team in 2001. He is as Associate of the Institute of Investment Management and Research and holds qualifications from the UK Society of Investment Professionals.
