HL research - our view on this fund

Mark Dampier The fund mainly invests in smaller oil companies, which have endured a torrid time recently, but Angelos Damaskos feels they now look hugely undervalued. The fund is positioned to take advantage of any recovery in the sector, and if the oil price remains elevated this will help oil producers generate healthy cash flow and profits. The fund also has some exposure to the corporate bonds of oil companies, providing the portfolio with a defensive element.
