HL research - our view on this fund

Mark Dampier Leon Howard-Spink believes we have reached a point where markets could deliver a good level of growth, albeit at a slow pace in the short term. The fund's bias towards high quality stocks has been helpful this year. There has been a slight change in strategy, away from defensive areas and into sectors such as basic materials, which could recover strongly.

Investment career commenced in 1997 when he joined Jupiter Asset Management. Became a fund manager in 1999 when he started to manage a European Equity Fund - Central Croissance Europe. Degree in Politics.
