HL research - our view on this fund
Leon Howard-Spink believes we have reached a point where markets could deliver a good level of growth, albeit at a slow pace in the short term. The fund's bias towards high quality stocks has been helpful this year. There has been a slight change in strategy, away from defensive areas and into sectors such as basic materials, which could recover strongly.

Joined Schroders in November 2005 as a European Equity Fund Manager. At the end of 2000 he took over the management of the Jupiter European Special Situations Fund, rated 'AA' by S&P. Investment career commenced in 1997 when he joined Jupiter Asset Management. Became a fund manager in 1999 when he started to manage a European Equity Fund - Central Croissance Europe. Degree in Politics.
