Alan Gibbs joined JOHIM in September 2005 as a Director, specialising in Asian portfolios and funds. He is responsible for the management of the Waverton Asia Pacific Fund and the Tai Chi Fund. Alan joined from South China Securities where he was Managing Director. His investment career spans nearly 35 years with achievements including being the founding member of the Robert Fleming Securities Asian broking business in 1974. In addition to this Alan has successfully managed and launched specialist Asian funds for companies including Jardine Fleming and Save & Prosper - part of the Fleming Group. Alan graduated in Politics Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University in 1974.
