Fidelity Asian Values implemented a Bonus Issue of Subscription Shares in 2016. Shareholders received one Subscription Share for every five Ordinary Shares held at close of business on 5 December 2016.

Each Subscription Share gives its holder the right to convert into one Ordinary Share of the Company. A holder wishing to convert a Subscription Share into an Ordinary Share will be required to pay the Conversion Price in order to do so, which has been set at 370.75p in 2017, 381.75p in 2018 and 392.75 in 2019. You will have opportunities to pay to convert your Subscription Shares in November each year commencing in November 2017 and finishing in November 2019, at which point the Subscription Shares will lapse.

If you would like to exercise your Subscription Shares at the November 2017 opportunity, thereby paying 370.75p per Subscription Share exercised, please provide us with your instruction by noon on Monday 27 November 2017. Please ensure that sufficient cash is available on your Account by noon on 27 November 2017 to cover your instruction. If sufficient cash is not available by our deadline, we will not be able to exercise your Subscription Shares at this opportunity.
