Hochschild Mining said it is taking Canada's Minera Andes to court in New York over a $65m loan provided for their joint venture San Jose gold and silver project in Argentina.
Hochschield alleges that Minera Andes 'unduly delayed' the execution of formal loan documents and repayment of the loan.
The group said the lawsuit had no impact on the running of the San Jose mine.
