We’ve been working hard to make improvements to some of our services to make them more efficient and simpler for you to use.

Transferring certificated shares

We’ve returned our certificated share lodgement service so you can transfer share certificates into your HL Fund and Share Account. Find out more about this service here.

Bed and ISA/SIPP

We know our Bed and ISA and Bed and SIPP service is highly valued by clients who hold investments in their Fund and Share Account, and we’re committed to bringing it back better for clients in a way that’s easier to use – we aim to make this available in the 2022/2023 tax year.

Whilst we’re making these improvements, you can still sell investments held in your Fund and Share Account and once the money has settled it can be moved to use your ISA and SIPP allowances.

Other suspended services

The following services remain under review and we’ll keep clients updated when we have more to share:

  • New applications for company, charity, trust, investment club, and bare trust accounts
  • Venture Capital Trust (VCT) applications

Need a hand managing your account?

  • Use the HL mobile app - one of the fastest ways to check your account, trade, and add and withdraw money.
  • Manage your account online - log in to your account from our website. Trading, transferring and opening accounts, adding and withdrawing money can all be done online. If you don’t have a login, register for online access now.
  • Set up a nominated bank account - you’ll need one to withdraw money from your account. It can take up to five days to set up. Log in and go to your account settings. You’ll need your bank details to hand.
  • Check our FAQs - all our frequently asked questions and other helpful information is available online in the Help Centre.
