Terms of the offer

What are the full terms of the offer?

1. Subject to these terms and conditions, if you contact our Advisory Helpdesk between 2 March 2020 and the close of business on 31 March 2020 and go on to receive and pay for written financial advice by 30 September 2020 (inclusive), you will receive a £200 Virgin experience days gift voucher (the “Offer”).

2. To be eligible for the Offer, you must contact our Advisory Helpdesk, about your interest in taking financial advice, between 2 March 2020 and the close of business on 31 March 2020 by calling 0117 317 1690 or by booking a call back with us by our usual close of business on 31 March 2020.

3. You will then need to pay for written financial advice in accordance with our standard Advisory Service charges, as described in the Advisory Services key facts document and summarised in clause 4 below, by 30 September 2020.

4. Our standard Advisory Service charges are 1 to 2% of the amount advised upon. These charges are subject to a minimum charge of £495 (+ VAT) for telephone advice or £1,495 (+ VAT) for face-to-face advice. For the avoidance of doubt, you will still qualify for the offer in the event that a minimum charge has been applied.

5. A recipient of the Offer can decide to receive a cheque for the monetary value of the gift voucher should they prefer to receive an equivalent cash gift.

6. You must not be an employee of any Hargreaves Lansdown Group company or a member of any such employee’s immediate family or household.

Please note:

7. This Offer is limited to one per client and one per address. This means that if more than one person from a single address takes financial advice, you’ll only receive one Virgin experience day’s voucher.

8. This Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer provided by Hargreaves Lansdown Advisory Services Limited or similar campaigns run by us or any other Hargreaves Lansdown Group company.

9. This Offer excludes advice provided in respect of Defined Benefit scheme transfers.

10. The Offer can only be claimed against the initial cost of advice and cannot be used against any on-going advice charges.

11. The gift voucher will be sent to you via email by 9 October 2020.

12. We may amend, extend or withdraw this Offer at any time. Details of any such amendment, extension or withdrawal will be posted on our website at www.hl.co.uk/financial-advice

13. This Offer will be governed by English law and, in participating, you submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
