Sidharth Mahapatra, Managing Director, is a portfolio manager on the Global Emerging Markets Equities Team within the Fundamental Active Equity division of BlackRock's Active Equity Group. Mr. Mahapatra manages the India strategies. He is also research pod leader of the South Asia pod. Prior to joining BlackRock in June 2018, he worked with Amundi, based in Hong Kong. He was managing their India offshore funds and was also responsible for their India allocations for the regional mandates. Before that, he had a six year stint with JPMorgan on the sell side, covering primarily HK based Long Only investors. This came after six years with HSBC, initially as a research analyst covering Autos & Consumer Discretionary and then in Equity Sales. Initially his research and sales experience was when he was based in Mumbai. He then relocated to HK as part of the HSBC sales desk in HK. His first job, after his MBA, was with Bajaj Electricals in Mumbai in a sales role. Sid completed his MBA from Xavier Institute Of Management, Bhubaneswar and is an undergrad in Physics from St Xavier's College, Mumbai.

Stephen Andrews, Managing Director, is a portfolio manager on the Global Emerging Markets Equities Team within the Fundamental Active Equity division of BlackRock's Active Equity Group. Mr. Andrews manages the Global Emerging Market Equity Income strategies. He is also research pod leader of the North Asia Financials, Real Estate and Tech pod. Prior to joining BlackRock in November 2017, Mr Andrews spent a 20-year career in the investment industry. During this time, he has worked (and been based in) a variety of markets including Europe, the Middle East and now Asia. Prior to joining he was Head of Asian Financials Research and co-Head of Global Banks coverage at Deutsche Bank in Hong Kong.Mr. Andrews earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree (1st class) from the University of Birmingham, UK, in 1996.
