In 1998 he moved to James Capel becoming Head of UK and European Sales in 1995. From 1996 to 2003, James was Head of European Cash Sales at Salomon Brothers. In 2003, he founded Man Securities, which became MF Global Securities. The business was developed from start up to revenues of $85m and PBT of $15m. 2009 - CEO, MF Global Europe 2011 - CEO, Cantor Fitzgerald Europe Founded Vermeer in 2014.

Tim Gregory launched his fund management career in 1988 at Credit Suisse working with Bill Mott, winning the Micropal Income Fund of the Year in 1991 and Balanced Fund of the Year in 1992. Moved to Prolific Asset Management in 1994 winning various Income Growth Fund of the year awards in 1995 and being nominated for Investment Week Income Fund Manager of the Year. Became Head of UK Retail Funds at Gartmore in 1997, in charge of a team managing over £2.5 billion where he was nominated for Income Fund Manager of the Year in 1999. Emigrated to Australia in 2001 where he helped found Psigma Investment Management as CIO until 2008 and Head if Global Equities until he left to found Vermeer in 2014.
