Why has my fund been removed from the list?

The Wealth 50 is built using the same comprehensive research as before, but is more focused, with fewer funds.

Important notes

This article isn’t personal advice. If you’re not sure whether an investment is right for you please seek advice. If you choose to invest the value of your investment will rise and fall, so you could get back less than you put in.

The Wealth 50 is built using the same comprehensive research as before, but is more focused, with fewer funds. It’s even easier to find what you’re looking for. These changes mean some funds that were on the Wealth 150 don’t feature on the Wealth 50.

We still think they’re great funds. But to make a shorter list we had to raise the bar and make sure only our higher-conviction funds feature on the Wealth 50. Just because a fund hasn’t made the cut doesn’t mean investors should make any changes to their portfolio, as long as the fund still meets their objectives.

Great funds, better value

We also want to make sure the Wealth 50 provides even better value for you. We used our scale to negotiate better fund charges and in lots of cases we’ve got significant discounts for you.

While funds that have been removed could still do well in future, we’ve taken them off if we think there are other great funds in the same sector, or that do something similar, which can be bought at a lower cost.
