Aberdeen Latin American Income Fund Limited is a closed-ended investment company. The investment objective of the Company is to provide ordinary shareholders with a total return, with an above average yield through investing in Latin American securities. It invests in companies listed on stock exchanges in the Latin American region; Latin American securities listed on other international stock exchanges; companies listed on other international exchanges that derive revenues or profits from the Latin American region, and debt issued by governments and companies in the Latin American region. Its portfolio consists of equities, equity-related and fixed income investments, with approximately 25% of its gross assets invested in equity and equity-related investments and approximately 25% of its gross assets invested in fixed income investments. It may invest in open-ended collective investment schemes and closed-ended funds. The Company is managed by Aberdeen Asset Managers Limited.
