Objective
The objective of the Genesis Emerging Markets Fund isto achieve long-term capital growth, primarily through investment in equity markets of low- and middle-income countries. The portfolio comprises holdings in predominantly high- quality, sustainable businesses, both large and small. As part of their analysis the Investment Manager's team determines quality ratings for each company, which primarily measure a business' ability to generate sustainable excess returns on capital and US$ intrinsic value stability.

Fee Structure
Management fee is 0.9% p.a. of NAV as at the last valuation day of the relevant month. The agreement may be terminated on written notice of 3 months given by the company or written notice of 12 months given by the Manager.
Dividend Policy
The fund distributes substantially all income received (net of withholding taxes) annually after allowing for expenses. Single dividend will be paid during the financial year.

Manager Bio
Arindam Bhattacharjee, CFA is the Portfolio Manager responsible for the Indian Subcontinent. He also focuses on the software and media/entertainment sectors. Mr. Bhattacharjee is the Portfolio Manager of The Emerging Markets South Asian Fund and lead Portfolio Manager of The Emerging Markets New Economy Fund, PLC, which focuses on telecommunications, media and technology. He also has experience with the Firm as an Analyst in South Africa. Previously, he was a consultant to The World Bank Group where he focused on Southern African infrastructure investments. Mr. Bhattacharjee has a B.A. in Economics from Davidson College and an M.B.A. from American University.
