(Sharecast News) - Truetide said on Friday that it planned to seek shareholder approval for a revised investing policy centred on a balanced long-short strategy focused on artificial intelligence.
It said the proposed approach would combine investments in companies expected to benefit from AI developments with selective put option positions against businesses whose valuations the board considers difficult to sustain.
The AIM-listed investment company said the strategy would be implemented in phases and required approval at a general meeting under AIM rules.
A shareholder circular setting out further details is expected within the next two months, with no action to be taken under the revised policy before approval is secured.
