Why have we reached out to you?

We’ve reached out as we believe you’re acting as the executor/administrator for an estate of one of our clients, or we’ve identified you as their next of kin.

If you’re not the right person to speak to, please accept our apologies. We ask that you still fill in the enclosed form and return it to us. This will help us to contact the correct person(s) and update our records accordingly. The next steps are outlined below.

What we need from you

If you're the right person to speak to:

  1. Complete the Estate Reply Form enclosed with your letter.

  2. Return the form using either the envelope provided or electronically by scanning the QR code found on your letter.

  3. Once the forms have been returned, we’ll try to verify your identity. We'll attempt to do this electronically. However, if this check is unsuccessful, we’ll ask you to send us further documentation.

  4. Once we’ve verified you, we'll send you a valuation and our estates application pack, which you’ll need to complete. This lets us know what should be done with the assets held.

  5. When you’ve completed the estates application pack, you’ll need to send this to us, along with any further documentation requested.

  6. We’ll then action any requested trades and distribute assets as instructed.

  1. Complete the Estate Reply Form enclosed with your letter, making sure to fill in the details of the person we should contact about the estate.

  2. Return the form using either the envelope provided or electronically by scanning the QR code found on your letter.

  3. We’ll then reach out to the right person.

If you're not the right person to speak to and you don't know who is:

  1. Complete the enclosed Estate Reply Form with your details so we can update our records.

  2. Return the form using either the envelope provided or electronically by scanning the QR code found on your letter.

  3. We may then contact you to understand why you aren't the right person.
