What ongoing charges do I need to be aware of before investing in funds through Hargreaves Lansdown?
When you invest in and hold a fund with Hargreaves Lansdown you have to pay ongoing charges to the fund manager and an ongoing charge to Hargreaves Lansdown. There may also be a performance fee. Details of these charges can be found on the individual fund factsheets.
The charge from Hargreaves Lansdown for holding funds is tiered within bands starting at 0.45% per annum on the first £250,000 of funds, 0.25% per annum on the value between £250,000 and £1m, and 0.1% per annum on the value of funds between £1m and £2m, and no charge on the value of funds over £2m. The charge is based on the total value of funds (such as unit trusts and OEICs – not investment trusts or ETFs) held in each HL account. Please note these charges apply to each account separately.
