abrdn World Healthcare Fund (the Fund) is a diversified closed-end management investment company. The Fund’s investment objective is to seek current income and long-term capital appreciation. The Fund invests primarily in equity and debt securities of public and private United States and non-United States companies. Under normal market conditions, the Fund expects to invest at least 80% of its Managed Assets in the United States and non-United States companies engaged in the healthcare industry (Healthcare Companies), including equity securities and debt securities. Under normal market conditions, the Fund invests at least 40% of its managed assets in companies organized or located outside the United States or companies that do a substantial amount of business outside the United States. The Fund invests in sectors, such as biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, health care providers and services, and life sciences tools and services. Its investment adviser is abrdn Inc.
