Aimia Inc. is a Canada-based diversified conglomerate company. The Company operates through two segments, namely Cortland International and Holdings. The Cortland International segment designs, manufactures and supplies synthetic fiber ropes, nets, slings and tethers to the fishing and aquaculture, industrial and safety, marine and shipping, offshore energy, as well as other diversified industrial end markets worldwide. The Holdings segment includes the Company's investments in Clear Media Limited, as well as, from time to time, minority investments in various public company securities and limited partnerships. Holdings also include corporate operating costs. Clear Media Limited is an outdoor advertising firm in China.
