ExxonMobil Holdings Corporation is a holding company whose direct, wholly owned subsidiary and principal operating company is Exxon Mobil Corporation. Its principal business involves exploration and production of crude oil and natural gas; manufacture, trade, transport and sale of crude oil, natural gas, petroleum products, petrochemicals, and a wide variety of specialty products; and pursuit of lower-emission and other new business opportunities, including carbon capture and storage, hydrogen and ammonia, lower-emission fuels, Proxxima resin systems, carbon materials, low-carbon data centers, and lithium. Affiliates of the Company conduct research programs in support of these businesses. It operates or markets its products in the United States and most other countries of the world. Its Upstream businesses include unconventional, conventional, deepwater, heavy oil and liquefied natural gas. It also manufactures and distributes products derived from crude oil and other feedstocks.
