Ivanhoe Mines Ltd. is a Canadian mining company. The Company provides exposure to copper, zinc, nickel, palladium, platinum, rhodium and other green metals. The Company is focused on advancing its three principal projects in Southern Africa; the expansion of the Kamoa-Kakula Copper Complex in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), the ultra-high-grade Kipushi zinc-copper-germanium-silver mine, also in the DRC, and the tier-one Platreef platinum-palladium-nickel-rhodium-gold-copper mine in South Africa. The Company is also exploring for copper in its highly prospective, 54-100% owned exploration licenses in the Western Forelands, covering an area over six times the adjacent Kamoa-Kakula Copper Complex, including the high- grade discoveries in the Makoko District. The Company is also exploring new sedimentary copper discoveries, as well as expanding and further defining its high-grade Makoko, Kiala, and Kitoko copper discoveries as the Company's next development projects.
