The Argo Project includes several shallow historic pits and trenches. It is in the northwest corner of Nash County, approximately 16 kilometers north of Nashville, North Carolina. The Jennings-Pioneer Project is part of the Barite Hill Gold district in South Carolina, where multiple historic mines and prospects are located within an area of approximately 25 square kilometers.
