The Company’s rail-related businesses market their railcar products and services under the trade name TrinityRail. The TrinityRail platform provides railcar leasing and management services, as well as railcar manufacturing, maintenance and modifications. The Company operates in two segments: the Railcar Leasing and Management Services Group and the Rail Products Group. The Railcar Leasing and Management Services Group owns and operates a fleet of railcars and provides third-party fleet leasing, management, and administrative services. The Rail Products Group segment manufactures and sells railcars and related parts and components and provides railcar maintenance and modification services. It offers railcar solutions to its customers, such as agriculture, plastics, construction and metals, energy, chemicals, cars, finished steel, fertilizer, liquified gases, and food products.
