Werner Enterprises, Inc. is a transportation and logistics provider. It delivers truckload transportation and logistics services to customers across the United States, Mexico and Canada. Its segments include Truckload Transportation Services (TTS) and Werner Logistics. TTS segment consists of dedicated and one-way truckload and offers truckload services to customers, generally for a retail distribution center or manufacturing facility, utilizing either a dry van or specialized trailers. The Werner Logistics segment offers non-asset-based transportation and logistics services. Its three Werner Logistics divisions include Truckload Logistics, which uses contracted carriers to complete shipments for brokerage customers and freight management customers; the Intermodal division offers rail transportation through alliances with rail and dray age providers as an alternative to truck transportation and Werner Final Mile offers residential and commercial deliveries of large or heavy items.
