Xtra-Gold Resources Corp. is a gold exploration company with a substantial land position in the Kibi Gold Belt. The Company’s exploration activities include the review of existing geological data, grid establishment and soil geochemical sampling, geological mapping, geophysical surveying, trenching, and pitting to test gold-in-soil anomalies. The Company's exploration activity is focused on the Kibi Gold Project comprising approximately 33.65 square kilometers (sq kms), which is located on the Apapam Concession along the eastern flank of the Kibi Gold Belt. The Company has five concessions: Kwabeng, Pameng, Apapam, Muoso, and Banso. It holds about five mining leases totaling approximately 226 sq kms (22,600 hectares) at the northern extremity of the Kibi Gold Belt. Its subsidiaries include Xtra-Gold Exploration Limited and Xtra-Gold Mining Limited.
