The fund managers look for themes they think will influence the global economy and stock markets. Then they invest in dividend-paying companies that could benefit. It's more conservative, with a greater focus on income than other global funds, although it can invest in smaller companies and emerging markets, which can add risk. Charges are taken from capital in this fund, meaning the yield is increased, but potential capital growth is reduced. We think it's a good fund to diversify income or to add alongside higher-risk global funds.
