Crypto ETNs are classified by the FCA as Restricted Mass Market Investments (RMMIs), which means they carry higher risks and are suitable only for clients who understand those risks. In some cases, investment in these products may be limited to 10% of your total portfolio.

While crypto doesn’t align with our investment view, we recognise the interest from some clients. While longer-term returns of bitcoin have been positive, bitcoin has experienced several periods of extreme losses and is a highly volatile investment - much riskier than stocks or bonds. Remember, investments can fall as well as rise in value, so you could get back less than you invest.
