FPX Nickel Corp. is a Canada-based junior nickel mining company developing the large-scale Decar Nickel District in central British Columbia. It is focused on the exploration and development of the Baptiste Nickel Project, located in central British Columbia, and other occurrences of the same style of naturally occurring nickel-iron alloy mineralization known as awaruite. Its Baptiste Nickel Project represents a large-scale greenfield discovery of nickel mineralization in the form of a sulfur-free, nickel-iron mineral called awaruite (Ni3Fe) hosted in an ultramafic/ophiolite complex. The Baptiste mineral claims cover an area of 408 square kilometers west of Middle River and north of Trembleur Lake, in central British Columbia. Its exploration properties include Van Target, British Columbia; Mich Property, Yukon; Orca-Wale Property, and Klow Property. Van Target is located six kilometers (km) north of the Baptiste deposit. Klow Property is located 120 km northwest of Fort St. James.
