Ground Rents Income Fund plc (GRIF) is a closed-ended real estate investment trust (REIT). The Company, together with its subsidiaries, operates a property investment and rental business. The Company invests in a diversified portfolio of ground rents. The investment objective of the Company is to acquire a portfolio of freeholds and head leases, offering the potential for income generation from ground rents, that is both secure and hedged against inflation, and the potential for capital growth from active asset management. The Company's portfolio of ground rents includes freeholds and head leaseholds of residential, retail and commercial properties located in the United Kingdom. GRIF's investment strategy is focused on achieving long-term performance by investing in long-dated the United Kingdom ground rents, which have not suffered the same peaks and troughs as the economy and the property market.
