SIMEC Atlantis Energy Limited is a global developer, owner and operator of sustainable energy projects. The Company owns the flagship tidal stream project, MeyGen, and the Uskmouth Power Station site. The Uskmouth site is capable of supporting approximately 3.5-gigawatt hour (GWh) of battery storage projects. It is planning on building, owning and operating the remainder of projects on the site as an independent power producer. This includes three further projects named after the River Usk in Welsh Afon Wysg - AW1, AW2 and AW3. Its MeyGen project is a planned tidal stream project. The MeyGen offshore lease and site resource allow for a capacity of out to 398 megawatts (MW) to be installed. The Company is also focused on developing the Mey BESS project, which is a 1200 megawatt-hour (MWh) Battery Storage project delivered at a critical site for renewable energy projects.
