2026 Client Insights: HL Workplace

At the start of this year, we invited the employers we work with for their feedback on our service. Their responses offer valuable insight into what we’re doing well and where we can continue to improve.

Building a nest egg for the kids

Clear, accessible communication was highlighted as one of the most valued aspects of our service.

HR, Payroll, Benefits and Pension teams can easily connect with their dedicated Client Relationship Manager or our administration team, ensuring queries are handled quickly and effectively.

Employers and employees also value our regular HL Workplace webinars and the personal 121 meetings with Financial Wellbeing Specialists.

Rachel, one of our HL Workplace Client Relationship Managers, explains: “Financial Wellbeing is integral to our service. Our specialists conduct webinars and 121 meetings to empower members to make informed decisions regarding their pensions, savings and investments.”

Regular email communications to scheme members are valued, as they keep employees in the loop with HL updates, and personal finance news too.

Continuous Improvement

We were pleased with the positive feedback, but clients also shared areas where we could improve – particularly with some of our employer administration processes.

At the end of 2025, we announced a partnership with Keystone by Smart. This partnership will introduce a new and streamlined digital employer platform, allowing more efficient administrative processes by the end of 2026.
