BlackRock tracker funds - rebranding to iShares

Investments can go down as well as up so there is always a danger that you could get back less than you invest. Nothing here is personalised advice, if unsure you should seek advice.

BlackRock will rebrand its range of tracker funds under the iShares name on 30 June 2017. BlackRock’s iShares brand is currently used for its range of Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) and the aim is to bring the group’s full suite of index-tracking investments under one umbrella. The funds will also be rebranded as ‘index funds’ rather than ‘tracker funds’.

There has been no change to each fund’s investment objective or process. Therefore we do not believe existing investors need to take any action providing the funds still meet their objectives. The Corporate Bond, Emerging Markets Equity, Japan Equity, and Pacific ex Japan Equity Index funds continue to feature on the Wealth 150+ list of our favourite funds including tracker funds.

Important information - Please remember the value of investments, and any income from them, can fall as well as rise so you could get back less than you invest.
