Newton and Insight will change the name of their funds to BNY Mellon on 10 June 2019.

BNY Mellon is the parent company of Newton Investment Management and Insight Investment. The group already runs a number of funds under its own name, so the change keeps things consistent across their range of funds.

Every Newton and Insight fund will see its name change. Below we've listed some of their most popular funds with our clients.

Old name New name
Newton Asian Income BNY Mellon Asian Income
Newton Emerging Income BNY Mellon Emerging Income
Newton Global Income BNY Mellon Global Income
Newton Real Return BNY Mellon Real Return
Newton UK Equity BNY Mellon UK Equity
Newton UK Income BNY Mellon UK Income

Funds listed in alphabetical order.

The funds will still be managed in the same way, so we don't think investors need to take any action as long as they still meet their objectives. The Newton Global Income and Newton Real Return funds currently feature on the Wealth 50 list of our favourite funds.
