Gulf Investment Fund plc has recently announced a tender offer. Under the terms of the offer, the company is offering to buy up to 100% of the company’s shares. 

 

You can ask to sell all or part of your holding in the offer. 

 

The tender offer price will be calculated by reference to a tender pool on the calculation date of close of business on 26 March 2024. The company’s assets will then be split between a tender pool and a continuing pool on 16 April 2024.

If you ask to sell your shares you won’t know in advance the price you’ll get. The tender price will be an amount equal to the final value of the tender pool divided by the total number of tendered shares (rounded down to four decimal places) on the tender pool calculation date.

 

 If you don’t want to sell any shares, you don’t need to do anything.

 

Sell shares in the offer – Act by noon on Wednesday 10 April 2024

 

Any shares you ask to sell will be removed from your portfolio from 10 April 2024. You’ll receive cash from shares successfully sold as soon as practcable thereafter, and any shares not successfully sold will be returned to your account around the same time.
