Piers Aldred is an Investment Manager on Barings' Global Resources Team, responsible for covering materials and energy stocks. Piers is also Co-Manager of the Barings Global Resources Fund. He has worked in the industry since 2001. Prior to joining the firm in 2006, Piers was an Investment Analyst at Man Investments. Prior to that, he was a Trainee Fund Manager at Framlington Investment Management. Piers holds a B.Sc. (Hons) from the University of York and is a member of the CFA Institute.

Clive joined Barings as an investment manager in the Global Resources team in June 2011. He specialises in the analysis and investment management of mining stocks. Prior to rejoining Barings Clive held positions at BlackRock and AllianceBerstein where he was responsible for mining stock analysis. Clive initially joined Barings in 2004 as an Investment Analyst in the Global Resources team. Prior to this he worked for six years as a Senior Metals Analyst at Metal Bulletin Research (MBR) and three years as a Senior Database Analyst for Mining Journal Ltd. Clive was awarded a B.Eng. (Hons.) in Mineral Surveying and Resource Management from the Camborne School of Mines in Cornwall.
