Matt is a Portfolio Manager at Redwheel, heading up Energy Transition strategies within predecessor firm Ecofin, which Redwheel acquired in October, 2024. Ecofin was a London-based utilities and infrastructure specialist, which also participated in some of the earliest major deals in the emerging renewables and energy transition fields, including being a 15% owner of Airtricity, a majority owner of Solel Solar and participating in the IPO’s of industry leaders First Solar, Tesla and many others. Prior to Ecofin, Matt was a junior Portfolio Manager at Millennium Partners in NYC, on a $800M pad, focused on utilities, energy, transportation and clean technology. Prior to Millenium, Matt was a Senior Associate with SG Barr Devlin, a boutique M&A advisory group focused on Global Power and Utilities. Client engagements included Enron, Calpine, Berkshire Hathaway, and others.

Michel Sznajer is Portfolio Manager within the Ecofin investment team at Redwheel, where he leads the Ecofin Global Renewables strategies. Prior to Redwheel, Michel was an analyst and portfolio manager at Wellington Management. Earlier in his career, he gained experience at Goldman Sachs and Indosuez W.I. CARR, where he covered telecommunication sectors in Asia. Michel holds an MSc in Business and Engineering from Brussels University and is a CFA® charterholder.
