Ninety One GSF American Franchise Inclusive - Class A - Income (USD)

Michael is a portfolio manager responsible for managing the Investec American Franchise Fund and an analyst in the Quality team. In addition to portfolio manager responsibilities, Michael is also focused on stock analysis and selection; as well as ongoing holding review for our Global Quality equity strategies including the flagship Global Franchise Fund. Prior to joining the firm, Michael spent three years at Momentum Asset Management as an equity research analyst and a year at Deloitte Actuarial and Insurance Solutions as an Actuarial Analyst. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Witwatersrand. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries (UK) and a CFA® Charterholder.

William is a portfolio manager in Ninety One's Quality investment team, based in London. He is co-portfolio manager of the American Franchise Strategy. In addition, he is responsible for global equity idea generation and research. Prior to joining the firm, William worked at Allianz Global Investors as a pan-European equity analyst. William graduated from the University of Cambridge with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Economics. He holds the Certificate in ESG Investing and is a CFA® Charterholder.

Alessandro is a portfolio manager within the Value team at Ninety One. Since 20 April 2020 he assumed co-portfolio management of the UK Value strategies in addition to the Global Value Equity strategies that he has been managing since 2016. In 2011, Alessandro joined the firm as an analyst in the Value team. Previously he worked at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co as a fixed income derivatives salesperson in London. He graduated from UCL in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Economics and holds a Masters degree in Finance from the London Business School. He has passed Level III of the CFA® Programme.

Paul is an analyst and portfolio manager in the Quality investment team at Ninety One. As an analyst he is responsible for managing the research process for all of the Quality team's global strategies as well as global equity idea generation and research. As a portfolio manager he is responsible for the American Franchise Strategy. Paul joined the Quality investment team in 2013. Prior to this he was a Senior Manager in the firm's Investment Operations team. Paul graduated from the University of Surrey in 2010 with a first-class Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Business Management. During his studies, Paul completed a 14-month industrial placement at UBS Global Asset Management, with responsibilities covering client reporting and data management. Paul is also a CFA® Charterholder and holds the Investment Administration Qualification (IAQ) and Investment Management Certificate (IMC).
