Before you start
If you add money by debit card, it should be in the same name as the HL account holder and registered to your home address.
How to add money by debit card
- Log in online to see your accounts.
- Select 'Top up’ from the list of actions.
- Select to add money using a debit card.
- Enter the amount you want to add, then select ‘Proceed to card payment’ or ‘Continue’ depending on where you’re adding it from.
- Enter your card’s details and check they’re correct.
- Select ‘Make payment’ to confirm.
How to add money using Pay by bank
- Log in online to see your accounts.
- Select 'Top up’ from the list of actions.
- Select to add money using Pay by bank then select ‘Continue’.
- Enter the amount you want to add, then select ‘Continue’.
How to add money from a Fund and Share Account
- Log in online to see your accounts.
- Select 'Top up’ from the list of actions.
- Select to add money from a Fund and Share Account then select ‘Continue’.
- Enter the amount you want to add, then select ‘Continue’.
- Select ‘Make payment’ to confirm.
What happens next
You can choose a savings product to add your money to as soon as it clears in the cash hub.
If you do not choose a product within 30 days of adding money to the cash hub, we may return your money to you.
