Important information - The Wealth 50 and our research are designed for people who like to choose their own funds. It isn't a personal recommendation. If you’re not sure if a fund is right for you please get financial advice. Investments, and any income from them, can fall in value as well as rise, so you could get back less than you put in.

Our favourite funds in one list

The Wealth 50 is a list of funds our experts feel have the best potential in their sector. It’s the most popular list of its kind.

Evolution of the Wealth 50

It’s mind-boggling choosing from 3,000 funds. To help narrow the choice, in 2003, we created a list of our favourite funds in each sector – the Wealth 150.

Over the years we’ve refined our process, become better at picking winners and been increasingly picky when we choose funds. As a result the Wealth 150 has progressively shrunk in size.

Then, clients told us there were still too many to choose from. We’ve now reviewed every fund to streamline the list and make it easier to use – and choose.

If you have more questions about what’s changed, see our FAQs.
