Welcome to Financially Fearless. We want equality when it comes to money. But we also know that to get there, we need to level the playing field.

That’s why we’ve designed Financially Fearless - dedicated to supporting women through their financial journeys, removing the barriers around finances and to help women become more confident with their money.

We’re committed to breaking down the barriers that women face when it comes to money and financial advice - without the jargon, the pressure or the problems without solutions.

The information on this page is not personal advice, if you’re unsure if an action is suitable for you we always recommend speaking to an adviser.

Remember: a pension is not normally accessible until age 55 (57 from 2028) and with investments, you are at risk of losing money, as the value can fall as well as rise. It’s also important to know that when it comes to tax, rules can change and benefits (like allowances and credits) depend on your personal circumstances.

You’re unique. Your financial journey should be too.

Figuring out your finances can be daunting. Especially if like other women, you’re put off by industry jargon and the lack of clarity when it comes to money management and financial advice. Not sure where to start? Use the dropdowns below to find out where you might be on your financial journey.

I’m just starting out

If you find yourself wanting to make the most out of your finances but you’re not sure how, it can be helpful to break it down by what you want to achieve from your finances first.

You think it could be beneficial to speak to an adviser. But you’re not sure if it’s right for you.

Possible financial goals:

  • Define a long-term investment plan
  • Think about how to navigate pay and pension gaps
  • Start thinking about retirement planning

Potential financial worries:

  • Not having enough in my pension for retirement
  • The financial costs of taking a career gap
  • Not being sure who to speak to about my finances

Alternatively, if you’re unsure of your next financial moves or you think that you need some help planning your finances, you could think about speaking to an adviser.

The initial callback is completely free. You’ll speak to a member of the team who can answer any questions you have about financial advice and find out of it could be right for you, but they won’t give you personal advice. We always want to be clear about our costs and charges of any advice you do take, so you’ll be told about these in advance.

If you’re happy that advice is the right service for you, our Helpdesk member will put your information through to one of our advisers, who will be chosen for you depending on your needs and financial goals. They’ll arrange for you to speak to an adviser for an initial call within 48 hours at a time that suits you best.
