Antony Vallee joined Alken in May 2018 as Head of Fixed Income. Previously, Antony was a Managing Director and head of the Convertible Bond and Capital Structure group at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, based in London. During his 12 years at JPMAM, alongside his investment responsibilities, he was also a member of the Multi-Asset Global Strategy Team, responsible for asset allocation. Managing a range of convertibles and income products he was also the manager of the JPM Global Convertible Bond Fund. Prior to this, Antony was head of convertible arbitrage and equity linked strategies at Systeia Capital, overseeing investments in equities, convertibles, and credit derivatives. He began his career 4 years before, in 1998, at CCF Capital Management (HSBC Asset Management) as a fixed income and convertible bond portfolio manager. Antony obtained a MSc. in Financial Engineering from the HEC School of Management at the University of Montreal, and graduate and post-graduate degrees in Applied Mathematics and Economics from the University of Lyon.

Nicolas Dubourg joined Alken in July 2019 as Head of Research - Credit, Convertibles and Capital Structure. He is a Senior Analyst and counts US investment opportunities among his areas of focus. Nicolas joined Alken from J.P. Morgan, where he held numerous roles over a period of 13 years. He was most recently an Executive Director and Portfolio Manager within the Multi-Asset Solutions group at J.P. Morgan Asset Management focusing primarily on convertibles bonds. Among his responsibilities, Nicolas covered the global Technology, Media, Telecommunications and Industrials sectors. Previously, Nicolas worked in sell-side Equity Research. He was the lead Internet analyst within J.P. Morgan's European Media team, which was #1 ranked by Institutional Investor several years running. Prior to this, Nicolas began his career with 3 years advising on Mergers and Acquisitions in J.P. Morgan Investment Banking's EMEA Technology, Media and Telecommunications team. Nicolas holds a master’s degree in Business from ESSEC Business School in Paris.
