(Sharecast News) - Low-cost carrier Wizz Air said on Wednesday that passenger numbers had increased during June, as did seat capacity and load factor.
Wizz Air said it had carried 5.88m passengers in June, up 10.8% year-on-year, while seat capacity increased 10.4% to 6.38m, resulting in a load factor of 92.1%, up 0.4 percentage points on last year.
The London-listed firm also noted that it continues to be |one of the lowest emission airlines", reporting a further decline in CO2 emissions per RPK in June, down 4.6% year-on-year, to 51.2 grams per RPK.
As of 0825 BST, Wizz shares were up 2,33% at 1,098.0p.
