(Sharecast News) - Alfa Financial Software announced on Monday that chief operating officer Matthew White is to step down from the asset finance software group after 27 years.
White, who joined the company as project governance director in 1999 before transitioning to the managing director of operations in 2016 and COO in 2019, will leave his executive role and the board in March 2027 to take a planned career break.
The company, which develops software for the global asset finance and leasing industry. said White had played a central role in its transition towards a software-as-a-service (SaaS) business, including developing its wider leadership team.
"I would like to thank Matthew for everything that he has done for Alfa over the last 27 years," chief executive Andrew Denton said in a statement.
"Matthew's most recent role as chief operating officer since 2019 has been pivotal in our achievements as Alfa has transitioned into a SaaS company."
Denton said the strength of the company's leadership team provided a platform for continued growth, but did not announce White's successor.
White said he remained confident about Alfa's prospects and would help prepare the business for 2027 before supporting the leadership transition.
