Asos names Natasja Laheij as new chair after Lindemann steps down

(Sharecast News) - Fast fashion retailer Asos on Thursday said chair Jrgen Lindemann was stepping down, to be replaced by board member Natasja Laheij.

It added that William Barker had been appointed deputy chair, effective immediately. Lindemann, chair since August 2022, will stand aside at the end of his term after "orderly handover period" at the end of his term.

Currently interim chief financial officer at HR SaaS provider Personio, Laheij first joined the board in April 2023 as independent non-executive director and was named an independent director at t in February 2024. She previously held roles at Sony Ericsson, Apple, Amazon Fashion in Europe and Deloitte Australia.

Barker first joined the Asos board in September 2023 and is also founder and chief executive of California-based investment company Camelot Capital Partners.
