(Sharecast News) - Housebuilder Crest Nicholson said on Tuesday that the publication of its half-year results will be delayed as talks with lenders continue.

The company announced last month that it was in discussions with lenders about a temporary covenant relaxation.

"Discussions are progressing constructively and are expected to conclude by mid-July 2026," it said on Tuesday.

"Accordingly, the publication of the group's half year results will be delayed to allow sufficient time for the orderly completion of the covenant reset process and for the group's auditors to complete their review processes."

The results for the period ended 30 April are now expected to be published on 16 July.

At 1008 BST, the shares were down 1.8% at 64.90p.
