(Sharecast News) - LEGO delivered record revenues in the first half, with both top and bottom lines growing by double digits on the back of more than 300 new product launches during the period.

The world's largest toymaker announced on Wednesday that revenues totalled DKK34.6bn ($5.4bn) over the first six months of 2025, up 12% over last year.

Some 314 new LEGO sets were launched in the first half - a company record - with bestsellers including licensed themes like LEGO City, LEGO Technic, LEGO Botanicals and LEGO Star Wars.

Operating profits were up 10% at DKK9.0bn, as strong revenue growth and improved productivity offset increased spending on areas like sustainability, retail and digitalisation.

The company spend DKK4.2bn on investments in building new factories and upgrading existing facilities during the half, down from DKK4.5bn last year.

"We are very pleased to have maintained our strong performance in the first half of 2025, winning share in the global toy market. This growth is driven by our large and innovative range of products that continues to be relevant across ages and interests," said chief executive Niels Christiansen.

"With the solid financial foundation we have built over several years, we continue to invest in capacity expansions and strategic initiatives that fuel our growth.
