(Sharecast News) - Pantheon Infrastructure said it was investing $55m (41m) in US-based renewable energy platform Terra-Gen through a co-investment vehicle managed by Igneo Infrastructure Partners.

Terra-Gen develops, builds and operates utility-scale solar, wind and battery storage infrastructure to support the electrification and decarbonisation of the US power grid, Pantheon said on Monday.

The platform currently operates approximately 4 GW of capacity, the majority of which is contracted under long-term power purchase agreements, providing stable, inflation-linked cash flows. it added. Terra-Gen also has a pipeline of approximately 16 GW of projects.

Terra-Gen operates primarily in California, with development projects across Texas and New York.
