(Sharecast News) - Private equity firm Arcline Investment Management said on Wednesday that it does not intend to make an offer for engineer Senior.

Senior, which supplies the aerospace industry, announced last month that Arcline had made a preliminary all-cash offer for the company amid ongoing talks with other potential buyers.

The aero parts supplier said in February that it had received five takeover proposals, with Advent and Tinicum-Blackstone among the suitors.

At 0910 BST, Senior shares were up 0.6% at 287.80p.
