PZ Cussons backs FY profit expectations as Q1 sales grow

(Sharecast News) - Imperial Leather maker PZ Cussons backed its full-year profit expectations on Thursday as it reported a rise in first-quarter like-for-like sales.

In a very brief statement ahead of its annual general meeting, the company said group LFL revenue grew 4.5% in the first quarter and expectations for full-year operating profit remain unchanged.

Cussons - which also owns Carex, Childs Farm, Original Source and Charles Worthington, among others - will release first-half results on 10 February 2027.

At 1048 BST, the shares were down 3.8% at 94.30p.
